ALO Advisors is seeking a Sustainability Consulting Partner to lead and grow the firm’s Climate/Energy Practice. This is a regular full-time role as a member of our Partner Leadership Team working from your home office.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a climate and energy practice for the firm.
• Contributing to project execution activities in support of ALO’s clients.
• Leveraging and fostering a network of existing client relationships with strategic ESG and sustainability needs.
• Developing new client relationships.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in providing strategic ESG consulting services, management consulting, or related corporate-level strategic design and implementation.
• Recognized technical expertise and an established reputation (personal brand) in ESG or sustainability consulting.
• Adept at leveraging technical solutions to create business or economic value for clients.
• Expertise in developing holistic climate strategies (Inventory, Assessment, Roadmap, Science-Based Targeting, Implementation, Monitoring, Reporting).
• In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy market, including existing relationships that can be leveraged to support client climate goals.
• Demonstrated understanding of the energy and climate-related regulatory environment, relevant regulatory agencies, and current and emerging issues.
• Business acumen to understand business risks and challenges, and to recognize opportunities to provide enterprise-wide solutions for clients.
